PhēnixLoc.

The things you can't afford to lose, in one vault. Encrypted, sharded and spread across a decentralised node network, so no single node holds a complete copy of anything.

No card needed to start.

The PhēnixLoc dashboard

Four vaults. One sign-in.

This is the real dashboard. Each vault keeps one kind of thing, and each shows how much of your storage it uses.

Files

The documents you would have to beg an institution to reissue, or could never replace. Identity documents, deeds, contracts, photographs.

Passwords

Every login in one place, so the same password stops guarding twenty different things.

Banking

Card and account details, kept somewhere better than a note on your phone.

Blockchain

Wallet and exchange records. Keep your own recovery details here, and never type them into a site that asks.

One node yields a fragment, never a file.

Ordinary cloud storage keeps your files whole, in one place, behind one company's key. That is one point of failure and one point of trust.

PhēnixLoc works the other way round. Files are encrypted, sharded and distributed across a decentralised node network. Breaching one node returns an encrypted fragment. Putting the pieces back together is yours alone.

  1. Your fileWhole, only on your device.
  2. EncryptedLocked before it leaves.
  3. ShardedSplit into pieces.
  4. SpreadAcross a node network. No node holds it all.

The Endowment Center.

A vault is worthless to the people you leave behind if nobody can open it. The Endowment Center hands it on, on your terms. It is included on the Plus plan.

1

Fill the vault

Documents, photographs, account records, whatever the people after you will need.

2

Name who gets what

An heir or an approved agent, and exactly which parts of the vault each one receives.

3

Set the date

You choose when it hands over. Until then, nothing moves.

4

They get access

When the date is reached, the people you named can open what you left them.

Questions

What is PhēnixLoc?

A vault for your files, passwords, banking details and blockchain records, with an Endowment Center that hands access to the people you name on the date you set.

How do I get it?

Open phenixloc.fnvt.net in any browser and register. The first two weeks are free and it does not ask for a card.

Does it work on an iPhone?

Yes. PhēnixLoc runs in any modern browser, and on a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. On the Phēnix X it is built in.

How is my data stored?

It is encrypted, sharded and distributed across a decentralised node network. No single node holds a complete copy, so breaching one returns an encrypted fragment rather than a document.

What does the Endowment Center do?

You choose who receives what, and on which date. When that date is reached, the people you named get access to what you left them. It is included on the Plus plan.
